Portion size is determined by the position of the numbered dial with 1 being the smallest portion and 10 the largest. For example, a portion of table salt would dispense .8g with it set at number 1 and 2g when set at 10. Shake up then down to dispense one portion. (Portion weights may vary depending on seasoning manufacturer).
