Sodium Benzoate preservative, quart. Want to make your syrup flavors last longer than 1-2 weeks? Then add our preservatives, it's easy, simply add 1/4 ounce of sodium benzoate with 1/2 ounce of citric acid to a gallon of mixed syrup and enjoy longer self-life. Shelf life of syrup flavor with sugar added is about 1 week without refrigeration (and about 2 weeks if refrigerated) without preservatives added. Adding our preservatives will increase shelf life to about 4 weeks without any refrigeration!
